Keikyu Department Store Celebrates 30th Anniversary with 'Yokohama Scarf Story' Exhibition

Keikyu Department Store and Kanto Gakuin University will host the 'Yokohama Scarf Story' from May 21 to June 10, 2026. This exhibition focuses on the textile dyeing history of Kamiooka, showcasing 1,200 design drawings from the university's collection and rare export scarves from the Yokohama City Museum of History. The event includes student-led projects, a talk show on May 24, and sales of limited-edition Yokohama scarf-patterned tumblers (1,800 yen) at Starbucks. The initiative aims to preserve local culture and pass it on to future generations.
