Cold Noodle Menus at 3 Restaurants Showcasing Japanese, Western, and Chinese Individuality

Chinese Restaurant <Nan-en> Born with the hotel's opening in 1971, Chinese Restaurant <Nan-en> will once again offer the 'Nan-en Special Cold Soba with Five Ingredients,' which has been highly praised by many customers since its inception. It is a visually spectacular dish topped with 9 colorful ingredients, including shrimp, thinly sliced omelet, and special char siu. You can choose from two types of sauces: a highly aromatic sesame sauce or a refreshing yuzu soy sauce.

Also, the 'Chilled Kurobuta Pork Tantanmen' is a dish where you can taste the rich sesame sauce and the umami of Kurobuta pork. Finished with a moderate spiciness, it has a light aftertaste unique to cold dishes, making it easy to eat even in the hot season.

The 'Cold Capellini with Ooba (Shiso) and Sweet Shrimp' is a dish where you can enjoy capellini tossed with an abundance of ooba genovese and a creamy yet light sauce based on white dashi, layered with the acidity of shrimp and tomatoes. Additionally, the 'Morioka Cold Noodles', characterized by their smooth texture and firm noodles, are finished with a refreshing taste accented by crisp apples. <Washoku-an> At <Washoku-an>, which offers carefully selected seasonal ingredients from all over Japan, the 'Karatsu Wild Yam Tororo Soba' makes an appearance, combining wild yam with funori soba, characterized by firm noodles kneaded with funori seaweed. We prepare special wild yam delivered from Sasaki Farm in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, as tororo (grated yam) and tempura. After enjoying it as tororo soba, it is also recommended to mix in mekabu, okra, and nameko mushrooms to your liking and enjoy the change in texture.
