'ASUTO MUSIC PARK 2026' Confirmed for September 5th (Sat) and 6th (Sun)!

The ASUTO MUSIC PARK Executive Committee (khb East Japan Broadcasting / Kyodo Tohoku / Cross Sports Marketing) has announced the return of the city-based music festival 'ASUTO MUSIC PARK 2026', to be held over two days in Asuto Nagamachi, Sendai, on September 5th (Sat) and 6th (Sun), 2026.

Launched in the summer of 2025, 'ASUTO MUSIC PARK' drew approximately 32,000 visitors, including music fans, families, students, and local residents. This year, the festival continues to feature diverse artists, Tohoku gourmet food, regional collaboration projects, outdoor performances, and kid-friendly areas.

Event Overview:

The indoor area (Xebio Arena Sendai) will host live performances by 12 leading artists over two days. The adjacent free outdoor area (Mori no Hiroba Park) will feature 'ASUTO FOOD PARK', gathering about 30 food vendors, and various artist stages, turning Asuto Nagamachi into a large music park for two days.

Located just 5 minutes by train from Sendai Station, the festival aims to be accessible to everyone, from music enthusiasts to families with small children and students. The first round of artist announcements is scheduled for June 1st (Mon).
