Our company supports April Dream, which aims to make April 1st a day to express dreams. This press release is the dream of "Kia PBV Japan."

Kia PBV Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yasunari Tajima; hereinafter "Kia PBV Japan") will launch the "PV5," the first model in the "PBV (Platform Beyond Vehicle)" EV van series based on a dedicated EV platform developed by Kia Corporation (Headquarters: Seoul, Korea; President & CEO: Ho Sung Song), in Japan this spring.

The PV5 features a flat, low-floor structure that facilitates easy boarding and alighting for passengers and loading/unloading of cargo, a spacious interior with excellent customizability, high quietness unique to EVs, and a large-capacity battery. Furthermore, it is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and high collision safety performance, achieving comprehensive comfort and safety. Kia PBV Japan's dream is to leverage these features to develop PBV into a mobility solution for various challenges faced by Japanese society and businesses—such as responding to carbon neutrality, aging population, rural depopulation, and disaster preparedness and response.

Moreover, it is also our dream to contribute to the realization of richer lifestyles by proposing the utilization of PBV, a unique multi-purpose EV mobility in Japan, in scenes such as work-life balance and outdoor activities.

Prior to the launch of the PV5, as a point of contact with customers to bring dreams closer to reality, we have opened the "Kia Customer Center" today and completed preparations for the operation of "Kia Roadside Assistance."
