NPO Kids Future Passport (Read: Kids Future Passport / Representative Director: Mariko Nakamoto / Location: Fukuoka City, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka Prefecture, hereinafter "KFP"), which operates "Kodomo Gochimeshi", a service that utilizes local restaurants as children's cafeterias, has received a total donation of 957,796 yen from the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Japan Motorboat Racing Association (Representative: Masayoshi Uryu, hereinafter "Japan Motorboat Racing Association"). This donation is a support from its 137 affiliated racers and the Japan Motorboat Racing Association.
### ■ Background
In Japan, one in every seven children in a classroom is in a situation of relative poverty, and a significant number of children cannot obtain adequate meals due to economic reasons. Especially during long school breaks, when school lunches are unavailable, the burden of meals on families increases, raising concerns about malnutrition and children eating alone.
To address these social issues, KFP operates "Kodomo Gochimeshi", where children in economically disadvantaged situations can eat at local restaurants, tackling the problems of children eating alone and poverty. Recently, we received donations from the Japan Motorboat Racing Association and its affiliated racers who sympathize with this activity.

I am very happy to be able to participate in the activity to support children's meals. I hope our donations will help children facing difficulties and contribute to creating a safe environment.
Recently, we learned about the increasing number of children who cannot get enough to eat due to economic reasons, and we are deeply concerned. As someone who receives support from many people through boat racing, we were thinking about how we could give back to society when we learned about the "Kodomo Gochimeshi" initiative. We decided to donate because we wanted to help even a little.
We will continue to engage in such activities in the future and contribute to the realization of a society where children can grow up healthy.
Mariko Nakamoto, Representative Director of KFP
We sincerely thank the Japan Motorboat Racing Association and the 137 affiliated racers who agreed with the activities of "Kodomo Gochimeshi" for their warm support. The donated amount this time is equivalent to approximately 957 meals. During the spring break period, many children have difficulty securing meals as school lunches are unavailable. We are delighted to be able to deliver warm meals to such children. Furthermore, continuous support will not only boost the recognition of "Kodomo Gochimeshi" but also lead to an increase in new participating companies. We kindly ask for your continued understanding and cooperation in the "Kodomo Gochimeshi" initiative to deliver "food security" and "smiles" to all children.
### ■ About the Use of Donated Funds
This donation is equivalent to approximately 957 meals (calculated at 1,000 yen per meal) of meal support. Currently, many children are on spring break, a period when securing meals is particularly difficult due to the absence of school lunches. The donated funds will be utilized for the "meals" of as many children as possible, including meal support during the spring break period.
### ■ What is Kodomo Gochimeshi?
"Kodomo Gochimeshi" is an initiative that started in July 2023 with the aim of delivering meals more broadly to children facing hardship. In the past, the operation of children's cafeterias has often relied on volunteer efforts, with manpower and funding shortages and the difficulty of regular operation posing significant challenges, creating high hurdles for sustainable activities. Therefore, KFP utilizes IT and digital technology for the "DX of children's cafeterias" and the "Kodomo Gochimeshi" system, which operates on a "three-way win" principle, to provide nutritious meals to children, thereby supporting their physical and mental well-being.
