Kirin Beer to Launch Summer-Limited 'SPRING VALLEY BREWERY Fruity Saison'

Kirin Beer Co., Ltd. (President Hideki Horiguchi) will release 'SPRING VALLEY BREWERY Fruity Saison (Limited Time)' (350ml cans) from its craft beer brand 'SPRING VALLEY BREWERY' nationwide on July 7, 2026. Ahead of the general release, the product will be available at 'Spring Valley Brewery Tokyo and Kyoto' from June 1, via the 'Tap Marché' platform from June 22, and through the 'Kirin Home Tap' membership service from July 2.

'SPRING VALLEY BREWERY' creates diverse touchpoints with customers to deliver exciting taste experiences. This summer, through the launch of 'Fruity Saison,' the brewery proposes new ways to enjoy beer during the hot season.

The 'Saison' style adopted for this product originated in Belgium, where it was traditionally drunk by farmers to quench their thirst during summer farm work. It was developed to provide a cooling sensation and a moment of relaxation. By incorporating the 'Dip Hop' brewing process—adding hops during fermentation—Kirin has achieved a taste that harmonizes yeast-derived aromas with suppressed bitterness, making it easy for those who usually dislike bitter beers to enjoy.

The aroma and flavor of 'Fruity Saison' pair excellently with citrus fruits like lemon and sudachi, as well as grain-based ingredients such as cold noodles. The direct SVB stores will also offer limited-time dishes, including cold noodles designed to match this beer, starting June 1.
