New Service 'Whisky That Lives With You,' Which Achieved 100 Million Yen Crowdfunding Goal in Record Time, Officially Launches

Kirin Beer Co., Ltd. is launching a new service called 'Whisky That Lives With You,' which accompanies customers' lives as the whisky ages. The service will be available via lottery on a dedicated website starting June 29, with advance sales for official LINE friends starting June 26. This project was born from an internal new business proposal system in 2021, and in June 2025, it achieved its crowdfunding goal of 100 million yen on 'Makuake' in just four minutes. The total support purchase amount exceeded 270 million yen, leading to a full-scale launch due to many requests for resale. In this service, customers purchase raw whisky distilled between 2019 and 2026, which is then aged for 20 years in casks at the Fuji Gotemba Distillery. Samples are delivered during the aging process, providing a special experience to feel the growth of the whisky alongside the passage of one's life.
