Kitamura Camera to Hold Limited-Time Photoshoot Event 'Strawberry Sweets Shop' at Shinjuku Studio in June

Kitamura Camera Co., Ltd. will hold a limited-time photoshoot event, 'Strawberry Sweets Shop,' at 'Kitamura Photo Studio by MERCI Shinjuku' starting Sunday, June 14, 2026.

A photo booth evoking a sweet aroma will appear in the private photo studio, where natural light and antiques intertwine. A retro wagon will be lined with numerous sweets, offering a photography experience in a space highlighted by reds and pinks.

The Shinjuku store-exclusive photo booth, designed by photographer Mizuki—who has many fans for her unique worldview—features an antique floor and wagon, along with simple sweets, creating a space reminiscent of a patisserie found while traveling. The studio will capture the children's charm through various shots, including full-booth compositions.

The event will take place on June 14 (15:00-18:00), June 19 (13:00-18:00), June 20 (13:00-18:00), June 24 (10:00-18:00), and June 28 (10:00-18:00), with 30-minute slots per session. The fee is 5,500 yen (including tax) and includes one photo data cut. Prior reservation is required.

Please note that shooting in the special event booth is limited to one person only; family or sibling group shots are not permitted. Additionally, costume rentals, dressing, and hair/makeup services are not provided.
