Message from Susumu Hanmura
Many people perceive the phrase "university entrance exams" as representing a "high barrier." Especially for those who have experienced school refusal or are currently in that situation, this barrier may seem insurmountable.
"I don't feel capable of continuing to study."
"Will I have the physical and mental strength to keep going?"
These anxieties may lead some to consider giving up.
However, a closer look at today's university admissions landscape reveals increasing mechanisms that make it easier for students with truancy backgrounds to participate. Most importantly, the experience of school refusal itself can be transformed into a strength.
During this event, I will share specific strategies and approaches, along with insights on choosing universities and addressing concerns such as, "Will I be able to attend regularly after admission?"
University entrance exams, which may seem like an unreachable goal, will begin to feel much more attainable. Please join us—don't struggle alone. Use this opportunity to organize the information and take your first step forward.
