"Chaplin's Room" Special Accommodation Plan Launched

Fuji-ya Hotel Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: 359 Miyanoshta, Hakone-machi, Ashigara-shimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture / President and Representative Director: Akira Ando), part of the Kokusai Kogyo Group, will launch "Chaplin's Room," a new concept room, at Fujiya Hotel (359 Miyanoshta, Hakone-machi, Ashigara-shimo-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture / Director and General Manager: Kei Iida) on Thursday, April 16, 2026, coinciding with the birthday of the world-renowned comedian Charles Chaplin. To commemorate this, a special accommodation plan will go on sale.

Fujiya Hotel has welcomed numerous distinguished guests throughout its history. Among them was Charles Spencer Chaplin, known as the world's greatest comedian and affectionately called Charlie Chaplin. Records show he actually stayed in one of the rooms in the main building. This plan enhances the historic space with new charm, offering it as a special guest room where you can feel the ambiance of the past. It will be available for one group per day, providing a serene and luxurious stay.
