Konami Releases Promotional Video for "Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027", Set for June 11 Release

Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. released a promotional video (PV) on Monday, May 18, for its latest baseball game, "Powerful Pro Baseball 2026-2027" (hereafter "Power Pro 2026"), which is scheduled for launch on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

The released PV primarily features the latest information on the series' signature game modes, presenting new and enhanced elements in a digest format. According to the company, the content is designed to convey the game's world and gameplay feel to both series fans and new players. The PV is available on the official YouTube channel.

"Power Pro 2026" will be released for Nintendo Switch™ and PlayStation®4, with pre-orders currently open for both physical and digital versions. The standard edition is priced at 8,470 yen (tax included), while the download-exclusive Powerful Edition is 10,670 yen (tax included). The PlayStation®4 version will be available as a digital download only.

Additionally, the distribution of the game's opening theme song, "Highlight," has been announced. The track began rolling out on various music streaming services on May 18 and is scheduled for release as a karaoke song at DAM and JOYSOUND locations nationwide starting Thursday, May 28.

The game is officially licensed by organizations including the Nippon Professional Baseball Organization (NPB), SAMURAI JAPAN, and the Golden Players Club of Japan. The in-game data is primarily based on the 2025 official professional baseball season.
