Corona World Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Yoshitaka Murohashi), which operates 'Corona Cat Bowl/Corona Bowl,' will hold the '4th World's Largest Health Bowling Exchange Event' on Monday, June 8, 2026. At Corona Cat Bowl and Corona Bowl locations nationwide, we host 'Health Bowling Classes and Leagues' under the theme of 'Improving Mind and Body through Bowling.' In these programs, we focus on active seniors aged 60 and over, helping them understand that bowling is a sport that positively impacts mental and physical health, while also enjoying the game and building a community. On June 8, 2026, participants from all 12 Corona Cat Bowl and Corona Bowl locations, along with bowlers from Aichigawa Bowl and the venue, Inazawa Grand Bowl, will gather for this tournament. This is the '4th World's Largest Health Bowling Exchange Event.' While the first event in June 2019 saw 336 participants (112 teams) from 8 locations, this fourth event will feature 632 participants (212 teams) competing for the championship. The total age of the participants is 45,167 years (average age: 71.4 years). Special guests include comedian Udo Suzuki from the duo Kyaeen, and Dr. Kiyoji Tanaka, Professor Emeritus at the University of Tsukuba (Sports Medicine/Health Promotion). Professional bowlers affiliated with Corona World will also participate. Many active seniors today incorporate exercise into their lifestyles, using it as an opportunity to go out and stay active. Continuous exercise improves physical strength, and sports provide opportunities to make friends and gain tips for an active life. While companies cannot provide 'health' itself, Corona World aims to provide 'habits' linked to health through the tool of bowling.
