Craftia Skills Olympics Athletes Conduct Demonstration for 'High School Craftsmanship Contest (Electrical Construction Category)'

On May 9, Craftia Academy conducted a demonstration of the tasks for the '26th National High School Craftsmanship Contest (Electrical Construction Category)' for teachers and students from industrial high schools, performed by our company's athletes participating in the Skills Olympics.

In addition to supporting school education, this event aims to strengthen relationships with industrial high schools, expand recruitment activities, and promote the international competition participation of Craftia's Skills Olympics athletes. This is the 11th consecutive year the event has been held.

114 faculty members and students from 37 high schools across Kyushu and Okinawa participated, watching four Craftia Skills Olympics athletes demonstrate the work procedures and construction methods.

Highlights of the Day

This Year's Task

'Perform electrical wiring on a vertical panel as shown in the construction drawings and conditions, in accordance with the competition rules.'

In response to the above task, the four athletes performed the task skillfully, completing a high-quality piece of work within the 120-minute time limit.

These four athletes will compete in the 64th National Skills Competition scheduled to be held at Aichi Sky Expo from December 4th to 7th, 2026.

About the High School Craftsmanship Contest

Often called the 'High School Skills Olympics' or 'Manufacturing Koshien,' this contest allows high school students to compete in industrial skills and technologies. It is hosted by the National Association of Principals of Technical High Schools as part of their activities to promote and develop industrial education.
