Pre-purchase and pre-loading will begin on May 12 to ensure a smooth start for players. Built on Unreal Engine 5, the sequel introduces a 4-player co-op mode, an environmental adaptation system, and enhanced visuals. The series has sold over 18.5 million copies, establishing itself as a pioneer in the underwater survival genre.
