In today's rapidly advancing AI technology and redefining of globalization, the importance of 'communication skills accompanied by cultural understanding' beyond mere translation is increasing. The university's Lifelong Learning Courses aim to foster true international understanding by deeply learning the history and culture behind languages, not just acquiring language skills.
In the context of 'reskilling' (re-learning), which has been gaining attention in recent years, studying multiple languages, including not only English but also languages from diverse regions such as Asia, Europe, and Central and South America, is highly supported by many people, including local residents, as an opportunity to develop multifaceted perspectives.
