Kumiai Chemical, as a company supporting global food and agriculture, conducted the "2nd High School Food Education Program: Group Discussion on Food Production" from May to October 2025, aiming to encourage high school students, who will lead the future, to think about issues related to food and agriculture. A total of 249 groups and 967 students participated in this project. As a result of our company's review of the submitted reports, the report from the group at Kyoto University of Education Senior High School was selected for the Excellence Award. On February 16, 2026, we invited the high school students who created the excellent report to our Chemical Research Institute (Shimizu Innovation Park/ShIP) to hold an award ceremony, which included a company introduction, a tour of the institute, a presentation by the high school students regarding their report, a Q&A session, and interaction with our executives and researchers. Many questions were asked during the Q&A, providing an opportunity to deepen their understanding of research and pesticides.
