Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, today announced new capabilities for Kyndryl Bridge, its AI-powered open integration platform. These features are designed to automatically detect and remediate IT issues before they escalate into business-impacting outages.
Kyndryl’s predictive and preventative capabilities are already operational on Kyndryl Bridge, providing AI agent-enhanced support to more than 1,400 customers. The platform generates over 16 million AI insights monthly and has demonstrated a reduction in IT costs of up to 50%. Furthermore, it has helped customers collectively save $3 billion annually by avoiding major outages and reducing planned maintenance costs.
'By integrating AI agents into Kyndryl Bridge and proactively detecting risks, we are shifting the focus of IT operations from post-incident recovery to evidence-based prevention,' said Xerxes Cooper, Global Leader for Kyndryl Delivery. 'By understanding the relationships between millions of observability data points from applications to deep infrastructure, our customers can identify and resolve problems before they cause impact.'
The new capability uses information collected from over 200,000 customer devices to identify common events preceding failures through AI agent-enhanced root cause analysis. This accelerates the analysis process, which previously required extensive manual effort, completing reports in hours rather than weeks. This efficiency helps mitigate the impact of complex incidents across hybrid and multi-vendor environments.
The predictive detection capabilities extend integrated observability across the customer’s entire IT landscape. It dynamically identifies critical patterns and validates causal relationships between performance degradation, infrastructure contention, and configuration changes. This allows IT operations to evolve into a proactive model, minimizing downtime and enabling early response by operational teams.
In customer implementations, these capabilities have achieved early detection for over 10 million incidents annually, with some mission-critical production outages reduced by more than 90%. These Kyndryl Bridge capabilities are now available to all Kyndryl customers.
