Kyoritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd., which operates over 500 student and employee dormitories nationwide under the 'Dormy' brand, will hold a community exchange event, 'Children's Cafeteria KU-House,' on June 7, 2026, at the KU I-House, an international student dormitory affiliated with Kansai University. Having established itself in the community, the event has hosted over 250 children to date. This 9th edition reached full capacity immediately after registration opened. On the day, students will share warm moments with local children through programs leveraging the diversity of the international dormitory and activities coordinated with the local community. 'Children's Cafeteria KU-House' is a community exchange event planned and operated by dormitory students as part of the Resident Assistant (RA) program conducted by Kyoritsu Maintenance. By opening the cafeteria of the culturally diverse 'KU I-House,' the event provides meals to local children and creates opportunities for addressing solitary dining, promoting food education, and fostering cross-cultural understanding. The event will feature Hawaiian 'Loco Moco,' Korean language lessons by international students, and a safety workshop by local police officers, aiming to build a community where people can live with peace of mind. Kyoritsu Maintenance plans to continue holding regular 'Children's Cafeteria' events to encourage youth social participation and cross-cultural understanding, contributing to the development of next-generation global talent.
