Kyuritsu Maintenance Co., Ltd. (President: Koji Nakamura, Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), which operates 'Dormy Inn' and 'Kyoritsu Resort' nationwide, announced that 'Shirasagi no Yu Noto Kaisyu' (Wakura Onsen, Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture), which had been closed due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024, will reopen on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

Currently, while efforts for recovery and reconstruction continue in the Wakura Onsen area, the environment for welcoming guests is gradually being prepared. At our facility, we have also been proceeding with safety checks and the establishment of reception systems, and are now ready to resume operations. Current Situation in Wakura Onsen

In the Wakura Onsen area, alongside ongoing recovery and reconstruction efforts, initiatives for 'creative reconstruction' for the future are also progressing. Nearby, the 'Notojima Aquarium' has reopened, and facilities like 'Wakura Onsen Soyu' and 'Wakura Onsen Matsuri Kaikan,' as well as local restaurants, are also operating, gradually restoring an environment where visitors can enjoy Noto's food, culture, and hot springs.

Furthermore, in Wakura Onsen, based on the idea that the flow of people and interaction itself leads to regional vitality, efforts are underway for regional regeneration through tourism. The reopening of our facility is positioned to walk together with these regional movements during the ongoing recovery process.

Towards Reopening

Although forced to close due to damage to some facilities, we have been proceeding with facility repairs and system preparations to welcome guests again. While breakwater construction is still ongoing in the surrounding areas, our staff are diligently preparing to ensure guests can stay with peace of mind.

<Photo Exhibition 'Steps of Reconstruction' in the Lobby>

In conjunction with the reopening, a photo exhibition will be held in the first-floor lobby in collaboration with the 'Reiwa 6 Noto Peninsula Earthquake Archive' operated by Ishikawa Prefecture. We will provide a space where guests can observe the trajectory of Noto's reconstruction and its 'present' moment.

<Inside the Facility>

The beautiful scenery of Nanao Bay and Notojima can still be viewed unchanged. In the foreground, the ongoing breakwater construction for reconstruction can be seen, allowing visitors to feel the 'present' of Noto's reconstruction up close.

Manager's Comment

Since the occurrence of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, we have been closed for a long period. During this time, we have received warm support and words of encouragement from many guests, for which we are deeply grateful. While preparing for our reopening, we have once again realized the charm of the Wakura Onsen and Noto regions, and the importance of human connections. Although recovery and reconstruction efforts continue in the region, we are diligently preparing our reception system to ensure our guests can stay with peace of mind, and all our staff are eagerly awaiting the day we can welcome you all again. We hope that, using our facility as a base, you will enjoy the unique charms of Noto, such as strolling through Wakura Onsen town and experiencing the local food, culture, and hot springs.
