Kadokawa ASCII Research Laboratories, Inc. announces that it has been awarded the 'FY2026 Saitama City 3D City Model Utilization Project' for the second consecutive year. This project is part of Saitama City's efforts to develop, utilize, and open-data the 3D city model as part of its participation in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's 'Project PLATEAU.' In FY2026, the company will plan and host the 'SAITAMA Minecraft AWARD 2026,' an urban planning proposal event for children, utilizing 'Saitama City Minecraft World Data' converted from the 3D city model. As the operating secretariat, Kadokawa ASCII Research Laboratories will promote event planning, operation, and information dissemination.
