This new support allows SLV users to complete the introduction, daily operation, and zero-downtime migration of DoubleZero clients solely through natural language dialogue with AI agents or CLI operations. Users are now freed from the burden of learning separate CLIs for Solana validator clients and managing separate processes.

What is DoubleZero — Accelerating Solana Communication with a Dedicated Fiber Network DoubleZero is a dedicated fiber network specialized for blockchain validator communication. By propagating data between validators through independent, high-performance fiber links rather than public internet routes, it achieves reduced latency and jitter. Furthermore, by filtering duplicate transactions and spam traffic at the network edge using dedicated hardware, it also alleviates the processing load on validators.

Previous Challenges — The Cumbersomeness of Dual Client Management To introduce DoubleZero, it was previously necessary to install separate client software from Agave or Firedancer and operate an independent CLI. Validator operators had to learn the CLI for the DoubleZero client in addition to the Solana validator client CLI, managing two processes concurrently.
