Laguna Tenbosch Co., Ltd. (Location: Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture, President and CEO: Keisuke Kawamura) will hold a collaboration event, "'Kobito Zukan' Summer Vacation in Lagunaia," at its theme park "Lagunaia" starting July 25 (Sat). This year marks the 20th anniversary of the popular children's book series "Kobito Zukan" (Author: Toshitaka Nabata / Publisher: Rokurinsha).
This event is a limited-time attraction where visitors can enjoy the world of the "Kobito Zukan" series, which has sold over 3.2 million copies, at Lagunaia.
During the event, a "Kobito Overlapping Stamp Rally" will be held, where visitors collect stamps from six locations within the park and overlap them to complete a single picture. Additionally, a "Kobito Hunt Bingo" will challenge participants to find Kobitos using a map and hints. The sense of accomplishment from creating a picture with stamps and the fun of finding Kobitos hidden throughout the park with various difficulty settings will captivate both children and adults. Original prizes will also be given to those who complete the challenges.
Furthermore, restaurants and wagon shops within the park will offer original Lagunaia collaboration menus inspired by "Kobito Zukan" and "Kobitos." The "Kobito Zukan Goods Shop" will sell a wide variety of original goods exclusive to Laguna Tenbosch and official merchandise that can only be obtained here. There will also be a workshop corner where visitors can choose artwork of their favorite Kobitos to create original merchandise. The "mousepad" is a particularly noteworthy limited item making its debut at this event.
In addition, the "LaQ Park" within the park will feature 36 impressive displays recreating Kobitos and scenes from the picture books using LaQ, marking the first such exhibition in the Tokai region. Other attractions include special decorations on some rides and photo spots, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the world of "Kobito Zukan" throughout Lagunaia.
Additionally, starting August 17 (Mon), a screening of the "Introduction to Kobito Observation" video collection will be held on the Palace Stage, and a "Kobito 20th Anniversary Booth" will open in the merchandise shop, further enhancing the event.

About "Kobito Zukan"
"Kobito Zukan" is a picture book and book series by Toshitaka Nabata, first published in 2006. This year, 2026, marks its 20th anniversary, and it is a popular children's book series with over 3.2 million copies in print.
The protagonist "Boku" discovers mysterious creatures called "Kobitos," which are neither insects nor plants, in the first picture book. To date, 444 species have been introduced. While their impactful visuals may initially startle viewers, they have become a "classic" read in kindergartens, nurseries, and elementary schools, loved by children who genuinely believe in the existence of "Kobitos" and their families.
The "Kobito hunting" game, inspired by the "how to catch Kobitos" methods introduced in the books and video series, has become a huge hit among children.
Discussions about whether they exist or not frequently arise, causing concern for parents across Japan. Instead of saying "They don't exist," try listening closely and looking carefully.
You too should be able to sense the presence of mysterious Kobitos.
