Matsushima Memory Land Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Matsushima Town, Miyagi Prefecture, Representative Director: Shuichi Yagi), which operates a tombstone retail business, opened the indoor ossuary "Mori no O-mairi Terrace Sendai Goseki Jonenji Ossuary" (Management Entity: Religious Corporation Jonenji) on Saturday, March 14th. Located in the central part of Sendai City (Higashi-bancho, Wakabayashi-ku, Sendai City), within walking distance of the Sendai City Subway "Goseki" Station, it is a rare indoor burial site in Sendai City, meeting the needs for accessibility and a comfortable visiting environment for grave visits. Six visiting spaces with a concept of flowers, plants, and trees are prepared to welcome visitors. A courtyard called "Moriniwa" is established between the ossuary and the visiting rooms, designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia at the line of sight. Planting plan for the Moriniwa (courtyard).

This proposal offers a new style of memorial service, providing a space that fulfills the unchanging feelings for the deceased even as times change.
