Le Lien Co., Ltd., operator of platforms like 'Minna no Souzoku Madoguchi' and 'Minna no Shukatsu Madoguchi,' released the second report of its 'National Survey on Inheritance and End-of-Life Planning (Shukatsu) 2026,' involving 15,244 participants. The findings highlight the rise of Generative AI as a consultation resource and the positive impact of Shukatsu on life satisfaction.
Key Findings: 1. Legal professionals like administrative and judicial scriveners are the top choices for consultation. However, Generative AI has emerged as a notable option, selected by 6.2% of people in their 40s, 5.7% in their 50s, and 5.2% in their 60s. 2. Practitioners of Shukatsu reported an average life satisfaction score of 5.80, significantly higher than the 5.21 reported by non-practitioners. Satisfaction levels rise in tandem with the number of planning tasks completed. 3. The tasks most associated with higher satisfaction include inheritance tax measures (e.g., gift before death), insurance reviews, vacant house solutions, and organizing information in ending notes.
Le Lien redefines Shukatsu not as 'preparation for the end,' but as a 'positive activity to enrich one's remaining life.' The company aims to continue supporting individuals through its specialized platforms.
