LIBERTY Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the second collection (6 types in total) of official licensed T-shirts by Behind the Scenes®, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the film 'Trainspotting.'

These products are official licensed goods developed exclusively for the Japanese market based on a formal contract with Channel 4 (CHANNEL FOUR FILMS) in the UK, which holds the rights to 'Trainspotting.' Sales will begin on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Barneys New York stores and the online shop.

Reconstructing the 1996 Fever for 2026 Released in 1996, 'Trainspotting' profoundly influenced music, fashion, and street culture, continuing to receive high acclaim as an iconic work of the 90s. Based on the official T-shirts distributed in Europe and the US at the time (© 1996 CHANNEL FOUR FILMS), this project's concept goes beyond simple 'Reissue' to 'Reconstruction' from a modern perspective. As original plate data and design documents no longer exist, we re-edited the limited materials into 2026 licensed products without losing the air and fever of 1996.

Latest Visuals Shot in London The visuals were shot in East London by London-based photographer Una Lowe. Utilizing a combination of 35mm film and digital techniques, the imagery captures the atmosphere of the past while connecting it to modern lifestyles.

Pop-up Store '#T30th - Could you choose the future?' To coincide with the launch, a pop-up store titled '#T30th - Could you choose the future?' will be held at Barneys New York Ginza Store. This pop-up is structured as a 30-year anniversary 'answer' project to the question posed by the film in 1996: 'Choose Life. Choose your future.' In addition to displaying and selling products, it re-presents the theme of 'choice' through spatial production.

Future Developments This project plans to announce a third and final collection this summer. It will feature the reissue of long-awaited 'iconic visuals,' serving as the climax of the 30th-anniversary project.
