Background of Introduction ~The Wall Users Faced in Choosing Events~

Our research indicates that many users interested in matchmaking parties and dating events face challenges such as "not knowing what kind of events are available" and "not knowing what criteria to use for selection."

The background to this situation primarily consisted of the following three factors:

1 Search criteria unique to matchmaking parties are difficult to approach.

For beginners of matchmaking parties, with numerous search criteria specific to these events, it is difficult to even determine "what keywords or conditions to search for to find a suitable encounter," leading to stumbling at the entry point of the search.

2 Search axes are not fixed.

Even with a vague feeling of "it seems fun," users leave without being able to verbalize specific conditions.

3 Inability to make a choice.

Even when multiple search results are displayed, there is insufficient information to determine what is suitable for them, making comparison and decision-making difficult.

What "Search with AI" Solves

The "Search with AI" feature resolves these issues through natural conversation with AI.

Simply inputting general keywords and feelings such as "looking for an event where people of the same age gather" or "want to participate with friends" allows the AI to delve deeper into preferences through conversation and suggest optimal events. Furthermore, for registered users, it can refer to their attributes and past participation history to provide more personalized suggestions. It eliminates the need for complex condition input and comparison work, significantly lowering the hurdle for finding events.

Three Steps of the "Search with AI" Feature

This feature is a full-screen chat UI launched from the "Search with AI" tab in the footer of the machicon JAPAN site. Through natural conversation with AI, it supports user decision-making in the following three steps:

STEP 1: Easy to Start Searching

Along with the message "Vague questions are okay," prompt (question) examples such as "Events where people of the same age gather?" "Are there any for solo participants?" "What do you recommend for beginners?" are presented as buttons. You can easily start searching with a single tap. Free word input is also possible, of course.

STEP 2: AI Uncovers Potential Needs

For ambiguous inputs, the AI asks probing questions in a natural way and presents options to make answering easier. Through dialogue, it clarifies participation conditions that the user may not have even realized themselves.

STEP 3: Suggests Optimal Events Matching Conditions

Considering application availability, stock status, and event dates, the AI proposes up to three events. The "reason for recommendation" for each event is also clearly explained in text, allowing users to proceed with applications with confidence.
