LUCY Announces Release Event at Tower Records Shibuya to Celebrate the Launch of Their 2nd Full Album <Childish>

South Korean band LUCY (Lucy) has announced a special release event to commemorate the launch of their 2nd full album <Childish>.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the 5th-floor event space of Tower Records Shibuya in Tokyo. The day prior, on July 24, the band is scheduled to perform their first solo concert in Japan since completing their military service—"2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT <ISLAND> IN YOKOHAMA"—at KT Zepp Yokohama. This release event is a special addition to their Japan tour schedule, offering fans an intimate experience right after the concert.

This marks LUCY's first full-group performance in Japan in approximately two years. Following their long-awaited concert reunion with Japanese fans, the release event will allow for even closer interaction, making it an unforgettable two-day experience for supporters.

LUCY is a four-member band renowned both domestically and internationally for their one-of-a-kind sound featuring violin and their delicate, refreshing musicality.

LUCY is a South Korean four-member band consisting of Shin Ye-chan (violin), Chae Sang-yub (vocals/guitar), Cho Won-sang (bass/producer), and Shin Gwang-il (drums/vocals).

Centered around bassist and main producer Cho Won-sang, all members actively participate in album planning and production, handling songwriting and composition themselves.

The band debuted in May 2020 with the single album 'DEAR.' In recent years, they released their 2nd full album 'Childish,' demonstrating their distinctive musical sensibility and innovative sound across a broad spectrum. The album achieved over 100,000 initial sales, earning strong support both domestically and internationally.

Continuing diverse activities including EPs, singles, and OSTs, LUCY has headlined major festivals and established themselves as a unique presence in both recorded music and live performances.
