The final performance of the musical romance 'Kurotokage' and the sparkling revue 'Diamond IMPULSE' by the Takarazuka Revue's Cosmic Troupe, staged at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre (Tokyo) on Sunday, September 6, 2026, will be live-viewed in cinemas across Japan.

In the shadowy underworld of the so-called 'demon capital,' two figures stand out. One is detective Akechi Kogoro, whose brilliance in solving even the most baffling cases—ones that stump the police—has quietly preserved peace in the capital. The other is the elusive thief known only as the Black Lizard, whose true identity and whereabouts remain unknown.

On a Christmas Eve night when the main streets sparkle with illuminations, the story of these two begins… Amid a suspense-filled chase, a solitary 'love' gradually blossoms between the pursuer and the pursued.

This production embraces the romanticism unique to Takarazuka, enhanced with bold, sweeping artistic interpretations.

'Diamond IMPULSE' is a sparkling stage show that links fleeting emotions—impulses—such as passion, unrequited love, longing, and envy, felt by those who sing and dance without pause.

A double-bill performance featuring a fresh take on 'Kurotokage,' rooted in the world created by Edogawa Ranpo and elevated into a play by Yukio Mishima, paired with a vibrant, energetic show bursting with brilliance.
