Edgeson Management Association Holds 'Shigotalk' Career Event for High School Students with Cabinet Bureau of Personnel Affairs

The Edgeson Management Association, founded by Link and Motivation, has initiated a program in partnership with the Cabinet Bureau of Personnel Affairs to convey the appeal and reality of civil service work to high school students, broadening their future career choices.

The first event took place on June 5, 2026, at Kagawa Prefectural Takamatsu High School.

'Shigotalk' is a career event where professionals share their work duties, motivations, and the rewarding aspects of their careers directly with students. It provides young people with opportunities to encounter real-world perspectives on work.

Amidst a continuing decline in civil service examination applicants, communicating the appeal of the work at an early stage is crucial. Leveraging their expertise, the association plans to hold a total of three such events within the current fiscal year.
