Theatre Troupe Nanogram's 50th performance, "Amatsusaemo.", will be staged at Theater Green BIG TREE THEATER (2-20-4 Minami-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo) from May 28th (Thursday) to May 31st (Sunday), 2026. This is the latest work from Theatre Troupe Nanogram, which has been committed to creating one-act comedies for 28 years. Going away for a while? How long is "a while"? Unpaid rent? What's "Ti"? Comical and sad, yet terrifying? A contemplation on human existence becomes a one-act comedy. Enjoy a realistic experience where the events on stage feel like reality, as if you are peeking into them.

About Theatre Troupe Nanogram Founded in 1998. In October of the same year, their first performance "Perfect Blue" was staged. All scripts from the first performance have been created by Satoshi Suzuki, the troupe leader and playwright. While all works are "comedies," the stories often take on "suspense" due to some incident or accident, and the emotional conflicts of the characters add depth to the story, captivating the audience. Each character is full of humanity, both compelling and comical. The lighting is not excessive, showing delicate changes over time, adding contrast to the actors' performances. Music flows only at the beginning and end of the story, creating anticipation and lingering emotion. With a specific stage set as the background, the subtle gestures of the performers are deeply explored, creating a realistic world as if peeking into the events on stage.
