SPIRAL CHARIOTS' 36th production, 'Small Theater, Sword Fighting is One-on-One Only,' will be performed from July 9 to July 13, 2026, at the Small Theater Rakuen in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 on May 30 via 'Confetti,' operated by Long Run Planning Co., Ltd. SPIRAL CHARIOTS, now in its 23rd year, has always pursued new challenges in its small theater performances. This time, they will utilize the low-ceiling environment of the small theater to showcase intense sword fighting right in front of the audience. The story is set in the year 1661 of the Zipang calendar, during the era ruled by Tokugawa Ienna. In a transition period from military to civil government, martial artists selected from various regions fight in a 'Buko-shiai' (martial arts tournament). SPIRAL CHARIOTS was formed in 2004 and is currently actively performing with five members, including Seiji Hattori and Dai Nakane. The performance schedule includes public rehearsals and curtain call photo sessions, with ticket prices ranging from 7,000 yen for S-seats to 4,500 yen for B-seats.
