Atomic-bombed Piano Concert 'Mirai e no Dengon 2026' to be Held

The atomic-bombed piano concert 'Mirai e no Dengon 2026' will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, at the Nihonbashi Kokaido in Chuo Ward, Tokyo.

This concert uses pianos that were within 3km of the hypocenter during the 1945 atomic bombing, advocating for the importance of peace through music and poetry readings. Held annually since 2009, the concert features collaborations between professional musicians and students from Clark Memorial International High School.
