─── This is a story of 'someone, somewhere, someday'
A tale that may unfold in the near future—or perhaps one that has already happened in the past.
A universal event that could happen to anyone.
We deliver to you the persuasive power of 'words' and the authenticity of 'actors'—expressions only possible through live human performance—via the medium of 'theatre.'
Featuring emerging young actors, KUBOI Ken—the leader of Kara-za, pioneers of underground theatre founded by the late Tensai Kara—and Sawada Fuyuki from Bungakuza, Japan’s oldest existing shingeki theatre company, alongside other guest performers, this production will be staged at the Man Theatre under the writing and direction of TAHARA Hiroya of ±0.

About the Troupe
Since 2017, beginning with 'The Edge of Memory,' the troupe has released 2–3 original works annually.
Their artistic style abstractly portrays socially marginalized issues, bringing to light the 'dark parts' and 'guilty aspects' that people often overlook or ignore.
Through overseas theatrical techniques that form the foundation of TAHARA’s plays, they construct a stage grounded in 'realism theatre.' In recent years, the troupe has also focused on directing works by modern playwrights and classical pieces.

Production Overview
'Someone, Somewhere, Someday'
Synopsis
In a sealed-off space, Saegawa and Kondo silently carry meaningless 'stones' from right to left, then left to right, day after day. This isolated place, once occupied only by the two of them, begins to be infiltrated—one by one—by strange individuals. Everyone desires a peaceful life, the abandonment of thought, and strict obedience to top-down orders: 'Carry the stones.'
Meanwhile, sisters Rie and Shizuka wait endlessly in a room where their father has mysteriously disappeared. Their relative, Kataoka, kindly supports them, but the atmosphere in the town grows increasingly heavy and distorted.
When the 'stone-carrying room' and the 'room waiting for father' become connected by a single thread, what truth about the world will be revealed?
