"Geidai to Asobo in Kita Pia" is a full-scale classical concert where songs, music, and stories come together, presented by students and volunteer orchestras from Tokyo University of the Arts! This year marks the 21st performance.
This time, inspired by the "Ryunosuke Akutagawa Memorial Museum" to be opened in Tabata, Kita Ward in 2027, the story will unfold by weaving in works passed down through generations, such as Ryunosuke Akutagawa's novel "The Spider's Thread" and the children's song "Kotori no Uta" composed by his third son, Yasushi Akutagawa. We invite you to come with your whole family.

Synopsis
The setting is the prestigious private elementary school, Takino Ouji Gakuen, located in Kita Ward. Ms. Koda Maki from the music department is struggling to find a theme for the music drama to be performed at the school festival, but at the suggestion of Mr. Akutagawa Shinnosuke from the Japanese language department, a distant relative of the literary master Ryunosuke Akutagawa, they decide on Akutagawa's "The Spider's Thread." Mr. Akutagawa himself will write the script, and Ms. Koda immediately begins consulting with the students about what music to include. On the day of the school festival, what kind of developments will unfold in the music drama where Mr. Akutagawa also plays the role of the protagonist, Kandata?
