[SMYTHSON] Announcement of the Smythson x Peter Rabbit™ Collaboration Collection

On May 22, 2026 (Friday), SMYTHSON, the British stationery and leather goods brand operated by Look Inc., will launch a special collaboration collection featuring Peter Rabbit and his friends on its signature stationery, in celebration of the 160th anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter, the creator of Peter Rabbit.

The collection features iconic characters such as Peter Rabbit, Squirrel Nutkin, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and Appley Dapply, along with endearing quotes from Miss Potter herself.

This collaboration also celebrates Smythson’s long-standing connection to the world of literature. The brand established a relationship with Beatrix Potter back in the 1920s, selling items such as small bronze figurines and miniature Peter Rabbit bookshelves for iconic storybooks. In this latest collection, the Smythson design team has meticulously examined the Beatrix Potter archive, drawing inspiration from illustrations, sketches, and prints to elevate them into a timeless stationery style.

The notebook collection features three styles: the 'Panama Notebook,' 'Chelsea Notebook,' and 'Soho Sketchbook.'

The 'Panama Notebook' is available in Nile Blue, Sherbet Green, and Chalk, featuring gold-stamped motifs of Peter Rabbit, Squirrel Nutkin, and Jemima Puddle-Duck.

The two versions of the 'Chelsea Notebook' feature quotes by Beatrix Potter, with linings inside printed with a forest motif of Peter Rabbit and friends, originally designed in the 1920s.

Furthermore, the 'Soho Sketchbook' honors Beatrix Potter’s talent and passion for drawing, featuring the quote 'One Must Always Draw' on the cover, with rabbit sketches by Miss Potter included inside, providing creative inspiration.

The stationery collection also includes 'Correspondence Cards' featuring Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, and Appley Dapply. These come with envelopes finished with a hand-sprayed border design in Nile Blue, Fuchsia, or Sherbet Green, and feature hand-applied tissue linings.

Additionally, a Peter Rabbit 'Thank You Card' has been added to the lineup, set with envelopes featuring the signature print of Frederick Warne & Co. The interior print of the envelopes is inspired by a cretonne fabric pattern designed by Beatrix Potter in the 1920s.

This collaboration pays tribute to the outstanding technology and tradition inherited from British craftsmanship. The books are handmade in Smythson’s Hertfordshire workshop, and the engraved stationery is produced in a factory in Wiltshire.
