Loro Piana has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in sports and sailing by participating as a sponsor in the Tre Golfi Sailing Week 2026, held off the coast of Sorrento, Italy, from May 5th to 28th. In June, the Maison will also serve as the official title sponsor of the legendary 73rd Giraglia Regatta for the third year in a row, one of the most significant races in top-level Mediterranean sailing.

The Tre Golfi Sailing Week is one of the most anticipated classic races on the international regatta calendar and one of the most prestigious sailing events in the Mediterranean. Sponsoring this regatta solidifies the Maison's position in providing exceptional craftsmanship, timeless style, and unparalleled sophistication in the field of sailing.

The event is organized by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia (CRVI) in Naples, one of the oldest yacht clubs in the country founded in 1889. It is held with the cooperation of the Yacht Club Italiano and significant support from the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, the International Maxi Association (IMA), the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC), and the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV). The IMA Maxi European Championship (May 18–21) and the ORC World Championship (May 7–14) both consist of a 150-mile long-distance regatta and four days of inshore racing. At the conclusion of the event, the Maison will award the 'Loro Piana Challenge Trophy' to the winner of IMA Maxi Group 1.

Loro Piana's passion for sailing demonstrates the Maison's dedication to an effortless and sophisticated lifestyle at sea through tradition, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This passion has resulted in timeless, elegant, and versatile apparel that transitions seamlessly from the sea to urban life. Some of Loro Piana's icons were born at sea: the Windmate® bomber and White Sole shoes all inherit sailing traditions. Sailing is a symbol of a joyful way of life, enhanced by Loro Piana's exceptional and effortless garments that always offer perfect elegance and functionality.

The Loro Piana family has always held a deep and genuine passion for sailing, starting from the lakes near Valsesia and later developing in Sardinia. Pier Luigi Loro Piana continues to compete in regattas with his yacht, 'My Song,' maintaining a profound connection with the sea. For the Maison, sailing is more than a sport; it is an extraordinary outdoor laboratory used to experiment with high-performance and innovative fabric solutions, where craftsmanship and peak performance converge.
