Yahoo! Flea Market, provided by LY Corporation, has enhanced its "Oshi" (favorite) registration feature within the item exchange section. By introducing three new tabs, users can now handle everything from gathering information about their favorites to exchanging and buying/selling items, all on a single screen. This creates a more convenient and seamless experience for fan activities.

Yahoo! Flea Market has grown significantly, reaching over 35 million total downloads and approximately 10 million users.

Today, "Oshikatsu" (fan activities) has become a mainstream cultural phenomenon, with 53.7% of people in their 10s to 60s reporting that they have a favorite person, thing, or topic, according to a survey by Hakuhodo's "Henai Kaigi (TM)."

Against this backdrop, the need for the "Item Exchange" feature on Yahoo! Flea Market has rapidly increased, especially for trading random artist or anime merchandise. The feature's "anonymous shipping" system, which allows transactions without disclosing names or addresses, has gained strong support from users wary of direct interpersonal trades on social media. Consequently, the number of successful exchanges has increased more than sixfold compared to the previous year.

With this update, three new tabs linked to "Oshi" registration have been added to the top page of the exchange feature:

- "Latest News" Tab: Aggregates and displays the latest merchandise sales and event information for registered favorites in real-time. This eliminates the need to repeatedly search timelines.

- "Exchange" Tab: Displays trade requests for registered favorites, making matching smoother. Users can find trade partners as easily as on social media while benefiting from the safety of anonymous shipping.

- "Sell/Buy" Tab: Allows users to view both "Exchange" and "Buy/Sell" options on the same screen. This enables a seamless flow of "looking for a trade partner, and if not found, listing the item for sale to purchase a replacement with the proceeds" without page transitions.

LY Corporation remains committed to fostering an environment where users can enjoy trading safely and securely.
