Funassyi Pocket Sand Launches June 11 at Tobu Department Store Funabashi

Izutsu Maisen Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato, Tokyo; Representative: Daisuke Sen) will sell the 'Funassyi Pocket Sand' on a limited-time basis at Tobu Department Store Funabashi from June 11 (Thu) to July 8 (Wed), 2026, priced at 497 yen (tax included). The collaboration coincides with the 'Funassyi 14th Anniversary Funassyi LAND in Funabashi Tobu Limited Store' event held on the 6th floor Event Plaza from June 11 to June 23. Additional food collaborations under 'Funassyi Collab FOODS' run through July 8 in the B1 food section and 2nd floor Cafe Comme Ca. The Pocket Sand features Maisen's signature soft fillet cutlet with sweet tonkatsu sauce and creamy egg, in a round shape. This year's release continues with the two popular designs from last year, exclusive to this location. Maisen has been crafting tender tonkatsu since its founding in 1965, using daily-checked pork from around the world, custom fresh breadcrumbs, and four house-made sauces. The company operates about 70 direct retail stores and 13 restaurants nationwide.
