## From Founding to Present

April 2011.

Mansion Research Co., Ltd. (commonly known as "Marisa") was founded right after the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Originally planned as a real estate agency, its first service, Mansion Navi, was designed as a web tool for self-promotion.

However, the founder, deeply shaken by the disaster, resolved that "you only live once" and pivoted to challenge the real estate tech space — combining real estate × IT.

Today, beyond Mansion Navi, we operate multiple services and work with over 1,800 real estate companies nationwide.

In 2023, we acquired Mansion Research through an LBO and now operate under a new management structure.

Having started as an employee in 2013 with no family ties to the company, I was able to acquire it in just 10 years thanks to our clients, partners, the founder, and everyone around me.

We're all working toward a company where "working at Marisa gives you a lifetime's worth of experience."
