Marshall Group (Headquarters: Stockholm, Sweden; Representative: Jeremy de Maillard; hereinafter "Marshall") is launching its next-generation speakers, the "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV," designed to elevate your home audio experience. Featuring AuracastTM technology, these speakers deliver richer sound that fills your room. With a refreshed design that highlights iconic elements, the performance and style of these two new models have been further enhanced.

The "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" are scheduled to go on sale on marshall.com starting July 8 (Wed) and at authorized retailers nationwide starting July 31 (Fri).

Both the "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" offer improved sound and operability. Upgraded tweeters and waveguides provide a deeper sound that disperses evenly over a wider area. A meticulously redesigned bass reflex port improves airflow, delivering clearer and more powerful bass. The cable is now routed from the bottom, allowing the speakers to be placed flush against a wall without compromising sound quality.

Furthermore, the dynamic loudness function ensures music is reproduced with clarity at any volume, adjusting for a balanced sound with rich detail. The clarity, richness, and warmth of the sound are maintained even at low volumes, and an improved limiter delivers clear sound even when the volume is increased.

Faithfully inheriting Marshall's unique design, the "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" possess a timeless analog aesthetic. From the PU leather wrapping inspired by iconic amplifiers to the brand's signature "salt and pepper" grille and control panel, they incorporate enduring design elements that blend seamlessly into any interior. The classic brass control panel has been refreshed with a more user-friendly media jog and a distinctive power switch.

Acton IV

The control panel, designed for ease of use and precision, allows for intuitive adjustment of your preferred sound. Even when connected via Bluetooth, you can control the speakers through the Marshall app. Smooth control over volume, bass, and treble adjustments, as well as playback and skipping tracks, enhances your music experience. In addition to custom sound settings and EQ adjustments, acoustic correction tailored to your environment is supported, ensuring the speakers reproduce their true sound regardless of placement, delivering a perfect listening experience. Moreover, a new "M" button provides instant access to your favorite music or personalized settings.

Connecting with external audio devices is also seamless. With newly added RCA and AUX inputs, analog enthusiasts can easily connect turntables and fill their space with warm, timeless sound. Each product has been precisely tuned by Marshall's engineering team, offering an immersive sound experience with overwhelming presence, regardless of the audio source or environment.

The MDF cabinets used in the "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" utilize FSCTM 100% certified wood, demonstrating environmental consideration.

Synchronized Playback with Multi-Speaker Connection

The "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" feature the latest AuracastTM technology, expanding your audio environment and enabling synchronized playback across multiple speakers. While "Acton III" and "Stanmore III" could also play simultaneously via Marshall's proprietary streaming hub "Heddon," this upgrade allows for synchronized connection through "Heddon" or external AuracastTM transmitters, making it easy to build a seamless multi-speaker setup. Once initial setup is complete via the Marshall app, simply long-press the "M" button to enjoy perfectly synchronized sound throughout your home. "Heddon" is available for purchase on marshall.com for 32,980 yen (tax included).

Stanmore IV

Simona Berbec, Product Manager at Marshall Group, stated: "Since their launch in 2012, Marshall's home speakers have evolved while staying true to their heritage. These permanent fixtures have become the heart of any home audio setup. The 'Acton' and 'Stanmore' have endured thanks to their iconic design, premium build, rich and powerful sound, and intuitive control knobs. For the development of these fourth-generation models, our focus was on preserving these core qualities while pushing them further. Instead of rebuilding everything from scratch, we concentrated on refining what people already loved."

Key Features of "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV"

- Wide Soundstage

Further evolved tweeters and waveguides deliver high-quality, expansive sound. The sound disperses evenly throughout the room, providing an immersive listening experience. Improved stereo separation adds depth to the listening experience. The contours of each instrument are clearly defined and audible, while delivering exceptional realism and precise sound imaging.

- Richer Bass

Marshall's acoustic engineering team has redesigned the bass reflex port with an optimized, aerodynamically engineered shape. This results in tighter, clearer, and more powerful bass even at high volumes. The power cable is routed from the bottom of the speaker, allowing it to be placed flush against a wall without compromising acoustic performance.

- Dynamic Loudness Function

The dynamic loudness function ensures consistent high-quality sound regardless of volume level. It automatically adjusts the optimal tone balance for treble and bass, faithfully reproducing the original sound of the music at any volume. Even at low volumes, the clarity, richness, and warmth of the music are preserved. An improved limiter ensures clear, distortion-free sound even at high volumes.

- Customizable "M" Button

The newly added "M" button allows for instant switching to your preferred EQ settings and launching Spotify Tap for seamless music playback.

- Amplifier-Inspired Controls

The top panel features a classic brass panel with controls inspired by Marshall amplifiers, allowing for intuitive adjustments of bass and treble, as well as playback and stop functions. Inheriting the timeless amplifier design, it achieves Marshall's unique design and texture that has been loved for generations.

- Analog Inputs

While cherishing the rich sound of vinyl, this feature enhances the listening experience. The newly added RCA input makes connecting a turntable easier than ever. Simply connect a 3.5mm stereo mini-plug cable to the AUX input on the top of the speaker for easy connection to external audio devices.

- Marshall App Connectivity

The Marshall app allows for easy sound settings, customization, and various operations. Enjoy not only music but also podcasts and other content with sound tailored to your mood and preferences. Furthermore, you can adjust the sound quality to your liking with EQ settings, and acoustic correction features optimize the sound for the speaker's placement environment. This ensures the speakers deliver their intended sound regardless of where they are placed.

To Ensure Product Longevity

The MDF cabinets of the "Acton IV" and "Stanmore IV" use FSC 100%-certified wood (FSCTM C225755)1, supporting forest conservation. This designation applies only to wood components. Other materials not covered by FSC certification are also used in this product.

Additionally, the "Acton IV" uses 13% recycled material by weight, and the "Stanmore IV" uses 16% recycled material by weight2, reducing the use of new resources. This minimizes the environmental and social impact associated with the extraction and processing of raw materials, and contributes to reduced carbon dioxide emissions compared to the use of virgin materials3.

1 MDF wood accounts for 46% of the total weight of the product body. Calculations are based on the total weight of the product body, excluding accessories and packaging. The FSC designation applies only to the wood cabinet.

2 Post-consumer recycled ABS, post-consumer recycled PC-ABS, post-consumer recycled aluminum alloy, post-consumer recycled neodymium (rare earth element), post-consumer recycled polyester, etc. Calculations are based on the total weight of the product body, excluding accessories and packaging.

3 Industry data suggests that recycled materials generally have a smaller carbon footprint than virgin materials, but the reduction effect varies depending on the material and manufacturing process.
