Marty Inc. (Minato-ku, Tokyo) has announced that Osaka-born ballet dancer Saya Narita will perform the dual role of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake Acts 2 & 3 at the Ballet Ensemble Gala 2026 Kansai. Narita began her ballet training under Ikuko Yamanouchi and later studied at Art Ballet Nambatsu and the Austria Ballet School. In 2009, she won second prize and a full scholarship at the Educational Ballet Competition, leading her to study at the Mannheim National Ballet Academy in Germany. She performed with the Karlsruhe State Ballet during her studies. In 2013, she joined Korea's Universal Ballet, debuting as the lead in The Nutcracker in 2017. Narita then joined K-BALLET COMPANY (now K-BALLET TOKYO) as a principal soloist in September 2018, performing there until March 2025. Her awards include first place at the 2006 OSAKA PRIX (Jr2 division), first place at the 2010 Nagoya Ballet Competition 21, and second place at the 2012 Le Chausson d'Or.
