Maruzen Junkudo Launches 'Teen Reading Marathon 2026 Supported by Mynavi' Starting July 14: Read 3 Favorite Books to Reach the Goal

Maruzen Junkudo Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo) will continue its support for teenage reading by hosting the 'Teen Reading Marathon 2026 Supported by Mynavi' from Tuesday, July 14, 2026, to Monday, August 31, 2026, at Maruzen Junkudo Group stores nationwide (excluding certain locations).

This reading event invites teenagers to freely select three books they wish to read—whether purchased at a bookstore, borrowed from a library, or already at home—and aims to complete all three.

Event Overview

Eligibility

Open to individuals aged 10–19 (children under 10 may participate if they wish. Note: Those aged 20 and over are not eligible).

Schedule

・Application and Reflection Card Submission Period: Tuesday, July 14, 2026 – Monday, August 31, 2026

・Shopping Voucher Validity Period: Until Monday, November 30, 2026

・Award Ceremony: Scheduled for late October to early November 2026 (details to be announced later)

How to Participate

1. Obtain the Application Form

Pick up the 'Application Form (also serves as a flyer)' at the counter of a participating store, or download and print it from the official website (A4 size, black and white acceptable).

2. Read Books of Your Choice

Read any books you like.

※ Magazines, comics, comic bunko, strategy guides, textbooks, and reference books are not eligible.

3. Submit Your Reflection Card to the Store

Fill in the required details on the 'Application Form' and submit it along with your first 'Reflection Card' to a store staff member. In return, you will receive a stamp card.

・Suggested word count: Approximately 100–150 characters (no strict limit; please share your honest thoughts, even if not perfectly written)

・Submission limit: Up to 9 cards accepted per week (Tuesday to Monday) during Weeks 1 to 7.

4. Reach the Goal When You Collect 3 Stamps!

One stamp is given for each submitted reflection card. For every three stamps collected, participants will receive a 'shopping voucher worth 100 yen' redeemable at participating stores.

※ The shopping voucher can be used for books or stationery (one voucher per transaction).
