Maruzen Junkudo Bookstore Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo Ward, Tokyo) will host a pop-up store for the comic series 'Black Museum Series' (written by Kazuhiro Fujita, published by Kodansha) at 'magmabooks' in Toranomon, Tokyo, from Friday, August 14, 2026, to Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

'Black Museum Series,' created by Kazuhiro Fujita—renowned for 'Ushio and Tora' and 'Karakuri Circus'—is a legendary action series serialized in the youth magazine 'Morning.' Set in 19th-century Victorian Britain, it weaves real historical figures and events into its narrative. To date, three series have been published: 'Springald,' 'Ghost and Lady,' and 'Dance with the Monster, Crescent Moon.' The second series, 'Ghost and Lady,' gained widespread attention for being adapted into a musical by Shiki Theatre Company.

This pop-up store will sell limited merchandise from original art exhibitions held across Japan between 2024 and 2025, and will also feature exhibitions of replica original artworks depicting iconic scenes.
