SHIRUKOTTE Opens Second Store in Okazaki, Further Evolving its New "Gift & Cafe" Business Model

Matsunaga Seika Co., Ltd. (President: Kunihiro Matsunaga) will grand open SHIRUKOTTE Okazaki store, the second location of its new business brand "SHIRUKOTTE," which fuses gift items and a cafe, on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM.

The first store, the Komaki main store, has become a popular destination attracting 86,000 visitors annually, and its success led to the decision to open a store in Okazaki City.

What is SHIRUKOTTE?

It is a brand that aims to be a store long loved by locals, inheriting the spirit of Shiruko Sand.

SHIRU = to know / Shiruko Sand, KOTTE = pine cone (from Matsunaga Seika's "Matsu" meaning pine) is a coined word that combines these elements, offering Japanese-Western fusion gift confectionery that inherits the "spirit" of Shiruko Sand, and a relaxing cafe space.

*"Shiruko Sand" itself is not sold.
