19th Year of Esthetician Vocational Training at Tochigi Prison Begins with 39th Cohort

The esthetician vocational training program at Tochigi Prison, which we have been involved in for many years, has now entered its 19th year thanks to your support! Today, the 39th cohort began their training filled with both anticipation and nervousness.

This initiative is designed to help inmates acquire solid technical skills and a 'heart to heal others,' supporting them as they walk toward self-reliance upon returning to society.

Over these 19 long years, many graduates have flown from here to become successful members of society. The new 39th cohort will also spend the coming months seriously learning professional techniques and mindsets.

We will continue to fully support this challenge, in which private companies, the local community, and the Ministry of Justice are united.
