Head Chef-Approved: "Original Japanese Dashi" Dashi Pack Set / 4 Packs

The "Original Japanese Dashi Pack Set / 4 Packs" (¥3,240 including tax) is crafted under the supervision of the Head Chef of Japanese Cuisine at Meiji Memorial Hall, based on traditional recipes passed down since the hall’s opening.

[About Meiji Memorial Hall]

https://www.meijikinenkan.gr.jp/

The main building of Meiji Memorial Hall was completed in 1881 (Meiji 14) as the "Temporary Imperial Palace Dining Hall" in the same location as the current State Guest House. In 1888 (Meiji 21), it served as the venue for the imperial conference to deliberate the draft of the "Meiji Constitution," with Emperor Meiji attending every session. Due to this historical significance, the main building is also known as the "Constitution Memorial Hall."

After being relocated to its current site, it has hosted nationally and socially significant events, including the 30th Anniversary Ceremony of the Constitution’s promulgation, the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Imperial Rescript on Education, general meetings of the Japanese Red Cross Society and the Patriotic Women’s Association, and commemorative events by the Ji-sei-kai.

In 1947 (Showa 22), it opened as a comprehensive wedding venue under the name "Meiji Memorial Hall," celebrating the new beginnings of over 230,000 couples. Today, it serves not only weddings but also MICE events, parties, conferences, milestone celebrations, and dining experiences at its restaurants and kaiseki dining halls.

In 2020 (Reiwa 2), the historical and architectural value of the main building was recognized, and it was designated as a Tangible Cultural Property by Tokyo Metropolis.
