CoinTradeStake Staking Service Launches Support for Build and Build (BNB)

(Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Satoshi Tsuki, hereinafter "the Company") announces that it has commenced staking for Build and Build (BNB) on its staking service, "CoinTradeStake," effective May 20, 2026. This marks the first time BNB is being offered for staking among Japanese crypto exchange operators. As a result, the crypto asset exchange "CoinTrade" now supports 25 crypto assets, and "CoinTradeStake" now offers staking for 15 assets.

Build and Build (BNB) is a crypto asset that was rebranded from Binance Coin in February 2022 and utilizes the Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA) consensus algorithm. As a utility token, BNB is widely utilized for purposes such as trading fee discounts on exchanges, access to launchpads, and gas fee payments for decentralized applications (dApps) running on the Build and Build (BNB) chain. It also features a deflationary mechanism known as a quarterly "burn," where Binance buys back and permanently destroys BNB using a portion of its profits to reduce market supply.
