The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is promoting initiatives to engage in dialogue with children to upgrade policies from a child's perspective, aiming to realize a "Children First" society.
As part of this initiative, to understand children's opinions and needs, we are announcing the recruitment of 1,200 "Children's Tokyo Metropolitan Government Monitors" targeting elementary, junior high, and high school students and guardians of preschool children.
1. Overview of "Children's Tokyo Metropolitan Government Monitors"
(1) Program Details
To understand opinions and needs from a child's perspective and upgrade policies, we will conduct web-based surveys on Tokyo Metropolitan Government administration for monitors (approximately 6 times during the term).
(2) Monitor Term
From the date of selection as a monitor until February 28, Reiwa 9 (2027)
2. Recruitment Details and Application Method
(1) Number of Recruits
1,200 people (200 people for each of the following 6 categories)
① Guardians of preschool children (0-2 years old) ④ Upper elementary school students (4th-6th grade)
② Guardians of preschool children (3 years old and above) ⑤ Junior high school students
③ Lower elementary school students (1st-3rd grade) ⑥ High school equivalent age (15-18 years old)
*Age as of April 1, Reiwa 8 (2026)
(2) Application Period
From Friday, March 27, Reiwa 8 (2026) to Wednesday, May 6 (2026)

・ Must be an elementary, junior high, or high school equivalent age student, or a guardian of a preschool child.
