Tokyo Launches 'Affordable Housing' Recruitment for Families and Newlyweds

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government, in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Housing Supply Corporation (JKK Tokyo), is launching an 'Affordable Housing' program to meet the housing needs of families with children and newlyweds. Eligible applicants include households with children under 18 and newlyweds, with a household income limit of under 12 million yen. Rents will be discounted by 20% from the contract rate, with reductions lasting up to 12 years for families with children and 3 years for newlyweds (extendable).
