The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been implementing the 'Cluster Creation Project for Global Innovation' (known as 'TIB CATAPULT') since fiscal year 2024, aiming to intensively support high-growth potential technologies and industries, starting from the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB). This project aims to form 'innovation clusters'—consortia of multiple entities such as large corporations and investors—to create collaborative projects between startups and large companies, thereby driving innovation that impacts society. We are now announcing a call for new clusters to participate in this project. We plan to select six clusters, one of which will be designated as a 'Global Promotion Cluster' in partnership with overseas support organizations. Selected participants will receive an agreement payment of up to 300 million yen (with additional funding for the Global Promotion Cluster). The application period is from June 2 to July 14, 2026.
